Nicolas Barrié (born in Paris, 1963) graduated the Superior School of Beaux Arts in Toulouse. Literature is an important component of his artistic work. He collaborates regularly with contemporary authors in particular Jean Michel Espitallier and Richard Morgiéve. In 2004, he was invited to participate in "This is a Good News", a homage that transformed the house of the poet Arthur Rimbaud into "House of Elsewhere".Currently, he is working in 2006/2007 on two new films with texts from Jean Michel Espitallier and an English adaptation of its film Mafish Durrell, which includes the text "Sarhab" by Emmanuel Adely.
